Head of US and Europe Regulatory Reporting Technology at Barclays. I lead a 180-person global organization across the US, UK, and India, delivering IHC, CCAR, GSIB, and EU regulatory reporting to the Finance SteerCo and CFO.
My career began writing PL/SQL for Oracle's data-warehousing practice in Bangalore in 1998. Over the next 28 years I moved through Citibank's Asia-Pacific data and BI programs into Barclays, where I have spent 18+ years building the technology backbone for financial and regulatory reporting — from a single application team in Singapore to a 180-person organization spanning three continents. In 2022 I built out a new Glasgow, UK location from the ground up — a 20-person core team dedicated to regional support for European users — and grew the wider organization from roughly 90 to 180+ professionals over the four years since.
Today I head Regulatory Reporting Technology for Barclays' US and European businesses: IHC, broker-dealer net capital and customer reserve, and CCAR on the US side; CBI statistical reporting, SRB, AnaCredit, CoRep, FinRep, and asset encumbrance on the EU side. I sit on the Finance SteerCo, report delivery status directly to the CFO, and own the $20M annual budget behind it — $11M for the US portfolio and $9M for Europe.
"Regulatory technology only works when the org, the platform, and the people scale together — that has been the thread through every role since 1998."
Leads and volunteers with the Barclays Digital Eagles US Team, a network of Barclays employees advancing technology education and digital inclusion in local communities — introducing coding and computational thinking to early-age learners to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong interest in STEM.
Helped expand the team's Robotics programme, “Inspiring the Next Generation of Digital Innovators,” and supported its recent extension beyond children to adults building foundational coding and technology skills — helping close digital-literacy gaps across generations.
Open to Managing Director / Executive Director-level Regulatory Technology and Enterprise Transformation roles.
